My DS is broke =(
My DS is currently on its last legs =( If I close the Ds and keep it closed for more than a few seconds it just turns off. This isn't the first time it's been messing about, previously it reversed the screens and my D-pad but that fixed itself.

360 price drop comfirmed
After much confusion it is finally official, the Xbox 360 will be getting a price cut and will be the first of the next-gen consoles to break the £100 barrier. I recomend anyone looking into getting one getting a 60Gb premium for £150.
There's a Dev System underneath, which could mean a fair few things.
The options in the menu are Multiplayer only, no Campaign options.
The version of the game is 1.2 (Retail Halo 3 is currently 1.1)
This might possibly be the rumoured expansion pack.

Banjo 64 coming to VC
In the latest issue of OXM there is a small segment on Nuts and bolts. It states that the Banjo 64 coming to XBLA will be an exact port and specifically states "will include the Nintendo logo on the title screen". It then says that Microsoft made a deal with Nintendo. Both Microsoft and Nintendo could have stopped the game appearing on the other console, but Nintendo may have allowed it to go to XBLA as long as it also came to VC aswell. We'll have to wait and see.

Console sync
The Xbox 360, successor to the Xbox, launched on November 22nd 2005. An entire year before the Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii launched. This gave Microsoft a distinct headstart selling over 10 million units before their competitors even joined the market. Microsoft have stated previously that launching early was a smart move and that they are definitely considering it with the next box. A year difference means that the PS3 made a bigger leap forward with its Blu-ray and Cell Processors outperforming the Xbox 360. A single year of difference has produced such drastic differences in technology, if the PS3 continues with its '10 year life span' and the Xbox 720 launches in 2010 then it will be 7 years before the PS4 launches.
Scenario one: This means that for 7 years the Xbox 720 will be super powerful and outperform the PS3. When the PS4 launches we will see another super powerful console and the Xbox 720 will have technology from 7 years before. Microsoft will no doubt continue its trends of short life cycles and will launch the next console soon after the PS4, making another huge leap in technology. This will leave us with two consoles, one in the 8th generation and one in the 9th. As the consoles continue to move out of sync eventually we will be left with huge differences in console power, with some consoles being 2 or maybe even 3 generations ahead of their competitors.
Scenario two: Many people argue that the PS3 launched fast to join the fight, which is why it lacked Trophies, HOME and rumble on launch. This could indicate that with Microsoft launching their consoles fast then Sony may have to abandon their 10 year life cycle for the PS3 and launch the PS4 while it is still in development. If this also continues, with Microsoft continually launching early consoles then Sony may continue to rush their consoles out of development, bringing an overall drop in quality. This is noticeable when Microsoft launched the Xbox 360 early, arguably the rush in development to launch is the cause of the console fault that causes the red rings of death.
In conclusion, unusual console life cycles wll bring problems with them. There will be hardware complications, price problems and we will see many differences in the consoles power and games. Overall if the pattern continues then things can't go well and we will end up with a trainwreck of an industry.
